Buffaloes Football Fans Anticipate New Additions at Folsom Field

BOULDER, Colo. — Fans of the Colorado Buffaloes can look forward to several exciting enhancements at Folsom Field as the football season kicks off on August 29. This year, the team will host Georgia Tech in a highly anticipated game.
CU Athletic Director Rick George expressed his excitement in a recent letter to fans. He highlighted that the new season not only brings optimism about the team’s performance but also features improvements aimed at creating a better game day experience.
Among the changes, fans will enjoy new food and beverage options, along with engaging entertainment throughout the games. The goal is to foster one of the best atmospheres in college football.
Two major adjustments at Folsom Field involve the Student Entrance and the Southwest Entrance. The Student Entrance will be located on the northwest side of Duane Physics, allowing only students with Sports Passes through this entry. In contrast, the Southwest Entrance will allow entry from both the east and west sides of the stadium, enhancing pedestrian flow and safety.
George emphasized the importance of safety and comfort for all patrons, stating, “We have implemented this footprint to create the safest entry for all patrons entering the game.”
Tickets for the Georgia Tech and Wyoming games are already sold out, creating a sense of urgency among fans for the remaining games this season. George encouraged fans not to miss the opportunity to experience games at what he calls the best college football venue in the country.
“Together, we remain Buffs United! Go Buffs!” George concluded.
