UKTV is making waves in the entertainment industry with its rebranding campaign featuring the iconic Cher for its revamped streaming service.

The renowned superstar takes center stage in the glossy ad that showcases the transition of the streaming platform to ‘U,’ along with its free-to-air channels now known as U&ampDave, U&ampW, U&ampDRAMA, and U&ampYESTERDAY.

Developed in collaboration with HunkyDory Films, this multimillion-dollar initiative marks UKTV’s largest campaign investment to date, introducing a fresh look and feel to its services.

The advertisement stars Cher as she travels through familiar UKTV shows, offering a unique performance of her classic hit ‘I Got You Babe‘ reimagined for the campaign.

The creative team behind the TV commercial includes Scott Russell, the Creative Director at UKTV, along with director Christian Bevilacqua, producer Leanne Farleigh, head of production Mary Claire Seiler, and creative consultant Eoin McLaughlin.

Penny Brough, the Chief Marketing Officer at UKTV, expressed her excitement for the rebranding after months of strategic planning and asset development.

The advert, featuring Cher and her rendition of ‘I Got You Babe,’ perfectly aligns with the campaign’s tagline ‘We’ve Got U,’ highlighting the extensive range of content now available on the U streaming service.

With a focus on authenticity and engagement, the rebranding campaign aims to capture the attention of current and new viewers alike, setting the stage for a dynamic new chapter for UKTV and its Masterbrand U.
