Chris Eubank Jr, after more than a year of inactivity, is poised to re-enter the boxing ring this weekend. The renowned British boxer is scheduled to fight against Kamil Szeremeta in a highly anticipated match in Saudi Arabia. Eubank Jr, son of the legendary Chris Eubank, is determined to demonstrate his potential to secure a world championship title, despite reaching 35 years of age.

A successful performance against Szeremeta is expected to increase anticipation for his future matches. Eubank Jr has consistently drawn attention throughout his career, partly due to his father’s legacy. However, he appears to have his sights set on larger bouts, as he has confirmed ongoing discussions with three major names in boxing.

“Yes, I need to win and do so in devastating fashion,” Eubank Jr expressed during an interview with TNT Sports. “If I don’t, why would people want to see me fight Canelo, Conor Benn, Billy Joe Saunders, or Terence Crawford? If I can’t beat this guy convincingly, why am I fighting them?”

He further stated, “There’s still so much for me in my boxing career. It’s not just a belief; it’s reality. We’re already in talks with Canelo, Benn, Saunders, and the middleweight titleholders. I just need to do my job, stay disciplined, and all those big fights will happen.”

Such comments have sparked interest, as any fight involving Eubank Jr and these notable contenders would likely be highly lucrative. Particularly enticing is the possibility of a match with Canelo Alvarez, a name almost every middleweight contender aspires to face.

Moreover, Eubank and Billy Joe Saunders have history, having previously fought with Saunders winning in a split decision. A rematch could captivate fans eager to see the outcome of a second encounter.

Another potential bout is one with Conor Benn, a matchup that Eubank Jr is reportedly keen to arrange next. “Yes, if he sorts out his license, that’s definitely a fight I want next,” Eubank Jr stated regarding the prospect of facing Benn.

Their anticipated bout, scheduled for October 2022, was abruptly cancelled, but recent remarks indicate Eubank Jr’s readiness to revisit this challenge. Despite Benn maintaining his innocence surrounding the cancellation, Eubank Jr’s willingness to meet in the ring remains undeterred.
