Cristiano Ronaldo Shines as Al-Nassr Defeats Al Fateh 5-1
Al-Awwal Park, Saudi Arabia — Cristiano Ronaldo scored a stunning goal and helped lead Al-Nassr to a commanding 5-1 victory over Al Fateh on Saturday in the Saudi Pro League.
After missing a penalty earlier in the match, Ronaldo redeemed himself with a powerful strike that extended Al-Nassr’s lead. Joao Felix stole the spotlight with a hat trick, driving Al-Nassr to their fifth straight win.
“We played well and showed our strength as a team,” said Al-Nassr manager Jorge Jesus. “Cristiano’s presence on the field is always impactful, and today was no different.”
The match started with Joao Felix opening the scoring with a right-footed shot just outside the box. Al Fateh equalized briefly through Mourad Batna before Al-Nassr regained control.
Al Fateh’s goalkeeper, Ameen Al-Bukhari, faced a barrage of shots, struggling to keep his team in the game. Despite some close calls, Al Fateh could not find the net again after their early goal.
Ronaldo’s goal came in the second half, where he fired a right-footed shot past Al-Bukhari from just outside the box. The 40-year-old forward continues to impress, making significant contributions to his team’s offense.
With this victory, Al-Nassr remains undefeated this season, sitting at the top of the league standings with 15 points from five games.
Felix’s third goal came late in the match, pushing the score to 5-1 and leaving Al Fateh struggling to keep pace. The forward now leads the team in goals this season.
As the season progresses, Al-Nassr looks forward to maintaining their momentum and competing for the championship. “Every match is crucial, and we need to keep our focus,” added Jesus.
