PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania — Stephen Curry arrived at the Wells Fargo Center Saturday night in a stylish tribute to NBA legend Allen Iverson ahead of the Golden State Warriors‘ game against the Philadelphia 76ers. The game is set to tip off at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Curry sported a custom varsity-style jacket featuring a prominent ‘A’ and Iverson’s nickname ‘The Answer’ embossed under the left shoulder. The jacket, adorned in blue and white, also listed several of Iverson’s accolades, including his 2001 MVP award.

‘Only the Strong Survive,’ a phrase famously tattooed on Iverson, was also displayed on the jacket’s front, further emphasizing Curry’s admiration for the former 76ers star.

Curry, who is averaging 24 points and 6 assists per game in the current 2024-25 season, expressed his respect for Allen Iverson, citing his influence on the game and the culture surrounding basketball.

As the Warriors face the 76ers, Curry’s homage to Iverson highlights the deep connections between past and present stars in the NBA, showcasing the legacy that athletes like Iverson have left on the sport.
