Derrick Henry Joins Baltimore Ravens for New NFL Chapter
Former Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is set to make his Baltimore Ravens debut on Thursday night against the Kansas City Chiefs. This marks Henry’s first National Football League game in a uniform other than the Titans after an impressive eight-season career.
Having claimed two NFL rushing titles and renowned for his powerful running style, including a remarkable 99-yard run, Henry has cemented his status as a Titans legend. However, in joining the Ravens on a two-year contract, he now has the opportunity to further enhance his legacy and potentially secure a place in the Hall of Fame.
At 30 years old, Henry is poised to add to his impressive career statistics in Baltimore’s run-friendly offense, where he will work alongside quarterback Lamar Jackson. His move to the Ravens is seen as a significant chance to compete for his first Super Bowl title, as Baltimore stands among the favorites in the American Football Conference, competing against two-time Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.
During his introductory press conference in Baltimore, Henry expressed his desire to join a team with a solid foundation, stating, “I definitely wanted to be somewhere that had a solid foundation, and this foundation has been set for a very long time.”
