Eagles’ A.J. Brown Faces Trade Rumors Amid Frustrations
PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania – Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown is at the center of trade rumors as frustrations mount over his lack of production this season. The 2025 campaign has been a mixed bag for Brown, who helped lead the Eagles to a Super Bowl victory last year but now finds himself grappling with his role on the team.
Despite the Eagles enjoying success this season, currently holding an 8-2 record, Brown’s contributions have been less than stellar. During a Twitch stream on Tuesday night with popular gamer JankyRondo, Brown expressed his discontent, saying, “If you got me on fantasy, man, get rid of me,” highlighting his struggle to find opportunities to make significant plays.
His frustrations didn’t end there. During the stream, while playing “Madden 26,” Brown pulled up his impressive in-game statistics that starkly contrasted his real-world performance, stating, “Nine for 168 (yards), two touchdowns… That’s the only highlights of the damn football I been living right now.”
With the Patriots eyeing potential roster upgrades during the offseason, Brown could be a target given his prior coaching relationship with New England’s head coach Mike Vrabel from their time with the Tennessee Titans. Although the Patriots did not make any moves at the trade deadline, speculation suggests they may pursue Brown if he becomes available.
As the season continues, all eyes will be on Brown and the Eagles’ management as they navigate these growing tensions and consider the best path forward for both player and team.
