Electric Playhouse Las Vegas Gaming Center

LAS VEGAS, NevadaElectric Playhouse NV LLC, a high-tech social gaming venue located at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The petition was filed on Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada, according to court documents.

The company did not disclose specific reasons for its bankruptcy filing. It reported assets and liabilities estimated between $1 million and $10 million. In addition, the list of the company’s 20 largest unsecured creditors includes claims totaling over $4.4 million.

On Tuesday, a bankruptcy clerk noted that Electric Playhouse NV’s petition was incomplete. It lacked several required financial statements, creditor lists, and disclosures. The venue now has a limited time frame to address these issues, or its case could be dismissed.

Despite the filing, Electric Playhouse remains open to the public. Staff members reported no knowledge of any upcoming changes to operating hours. The interactive entertainment venue features dozens of motion-activated games, offering a unique experience that combines gaming with dining and social interaction.

The space utilizes sensors and 360-degree projection mapping to create immersive environments, allowing guests to use their body movements as controllers instead of traditional handheld devices or headsets. Since its launch in 2021 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Electric Playhouse has gained attention for its innovative approach to gaming.

Electric Playhouse occupies approximately 10,000 square feet on the Terrace Level of The Forum Shops and is not affiliated with Caesars Entertainment, Vici Properties, or Simon Property Group, the operators of The Forum Shops.
