Football Players Celebrating

It is encouraging to see young players making significant progress in their football careers. Will Morrissey recently excelled at Thackley, earning the prestigious Man of the Match award.

Bubba Krubally has advanced his career by signing to gain senior experience after impressively scoring an overhead goal against Halifax Town in the National Alliance League.

Chris Bumhira is also set to enhance his experience through matches with Eccleshill United.

Players Ashton Newsome, Luke Edmondson, and Tyler Polwarth will be accompanying the first team for their FA Cup match against Hallam. This opportunity offers them invaluable experience and the excitement of participating in an FA Cup matchday.

Luke Dean, the Head of Youth development, expressed his pride in these developments, stating, “I am incredibly proud of the lads and their progress. Working closely with Pav demonstrates our commitment to developing these players for the future. It’s all about providing them with the right opportunities to grow and succeed.”

The Farsley Celtic B Team also enjoyed a successful start, securing a 6-4 victory over Leeds UFCA in their inaugural match, much to the delight of manager Clifton Robinson. The B Team is set to compete again this afternoon at Littletown FC, and the best of luck is wished for their continued success.
