Fantasy Football Updates: Week 10 Injury Report and Insights
NEW YORK, NY — As Week 10 of the NFL season approaches, fantasy football managers must keep an eye on key player injuries and lineup changes. Official inactives are expected to be announced 90 minutes before kickoff, starting Sunday at 11:30 a.m. ET.
Among the significant updates, Jacoby Brissett will start for the Arizona Cardinals in place of Kyler Murray, who has been placed on injured reserve. Brissett has averaged 21.77 fantasy points per game as a starter, outperforming Murray, who averaged 15.56.
In Denver, wide receiver Marvin Mims has been ruled out due to a concussion, which boosts the projection for teammates Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin against a weak Las Vegas Raiders defense.
Michael Pittman Jr. is off the injury report and is set to play as a top-15 wide receiver this week. Meanwhile, Josh Downs and Alec Pierce look to benefit slightly from Pittman’s absence.
In Washington, quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered a dislocated elbow during last week’s game but will not require surgery. Marcus Mariota will take over for the Commanders in a challenging matchup against the Detroit Lions.
The receiving corps for Washington will be shorthanded with Terry McLaurin out and Luke McCaffrey placed on IR. Deebo Samuel remains the only starting receiver, with average PPR points per game significantly impacted by the recent injuries.
Alvin Kamara of the New Orleans Saints is officially questionable, while rookie running back Devin Neal could step in if he cannot play. Both players have faced challenges with the Saints’ struggling offense.
Every fantasy manager must adjust their lineups accordingly as the inactive reports roll in. The matchup this week is expected to provide several high-scoring opportunities despite the injury challenges.
