Fenerbahce Keeping Tabs On Arsenal's Nketiah As Potential Dzeko Replacement

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are closely monitoring Eddie Nketiah‘s situation at Arsenal as they consider him a potential replacement for Edin Dzeko.

Nketiah has been linked with a move away from Arsenal following limited playing time this season, with Fenerbahce eyeing him as a successor to Dzeko, whose contract expires in 2025.

Since joining Fenerbahce from Inter Milan in 2023, Dzeko has been in fine form, but at 37 years old, his future at the club remains uncertain.

Despite interest from Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia, Fenerbahce is exploring options for a long-term replacement, with Nketiah emerging as a prime target.

Arsenal, who rejected Crystal Palace’s January bid for Nketiah, might face competition from Fenerbahce and potentially other clubs for the English striker’s signature in the upcoming transfer window.

Arsenal’s preference for promoting young talent like Mika Biereth from loan spells suggests Nketiah could be on his way out of the Emirates Stadium to make room for new prospects.

Having not started a Premier League game in 2024, Nketiah’s departure from Arsenal seems likely as he seeks more regular playing time elsewhere.
