Finidi George Makes Tactical Changes In Super Eagles Starting Xi Against Benin Republic

Coach Finidi George has opted to introduce a new face to the midfield of the Super Eagles team as they prepare to take on the Benin Republic in a crucial match. The talented Club Brugge midfielder, Raphael Onyedika, has been chosen over Frank Onyeka from Brentford to partner with the seasoned Wilfred Ndidi in the defensive midfield position.

The Nigerian coach, Finidi George, has made three significant changes to the starting lineup that faced South Africa‘s Bafana Bafana in their previous match. Terem Moffi is set to replace Paul Onuachu as the lead striker in a 4-3-3 formation, while Samuel Chukwueze will take the place of Kelechi Iheanacho.

The Super Eagles’ starting lineup against Benin Republic is expected to feature Stanley Nwabali in goal, with the defensive line comprising Calvin Bassey, Semi Ajayi, Benjamin Taminu, and Bright Osayi. In the midfield, Wilfred Ndidi will be joined by Raphael Onyedika and Alex Iwobi. The attacking trio is set to include Ademola Lookman, Terem Moffi, and Samuel Chukwueze.
