Former TV presenter Anne Robinson has officially announced her romantic involvement with the Queen‘s former spouse, Andrew Parker Bowles. The 79-year-old, renowned for her tenure on the trivia game show The Weakest Link, and the 84-year-old retired cavalry officer’s relationship had been subject to speculation before Robinson confirmed it in an interview with Saga magazine.

Parker Bowles and Robinson have both experienced previous marriages. Parker Bowles was previously married to Rosemary Dickinson until her passing in 2010, and Robinson has been divorced twice, notably from Charles Wilson in 1973 and her second husband in 2007.

Robinson shared her thoughts on reentering the dating scene in her seventies after a prolonged period of being single. She reflected on the aspects of taking risks, stating, “I’m a great believer in surprising yourself by taking risks. Personally and professionally.”

Renowned for iconic hosting roles on Countdown and The Weakest Link, Robinson emphasized the importance of being selective and maintaining a nonchalant outlook as she matures. She quipped about her lack of drinking habits, attributing it to being less impulsive in her decisions.

The enduring friendship between Parker Bowles and the Queen was highlighted, with the former army officer being an esteemed guest at significant royal gatherings. Their familial ties continue to be strong, with their children and grandchildren frequently participating in royal events alongside the King.
