Geri Halliwell To Stand By Christian Horner At Bahrain Grand Prix Amid Leaked Texts Crisis

Geri Halliwell will join her beleaguered husband Christian Horner at the Bahrain Grand Prix today in a show of solidarity after leaked text messages rocked Formula One.

Red Bull F1 boss Christian Horner broke cover at the Bahrain International Circuit on Saturday morning with no sign of his wife Geri Halliwell after his wife found out the texts were leaked as she was en route to Bahrain.

Halliwell, 51, and her husband, 50, had breathed a collective sigh of relief on Wednesday when Red Bull cleared Horner of misconduct.

But 24 hours later, flirtatious WhatsApp messages apparently exchanged between Horner and the female complainant were leaked to 149 F1 figures while Halliwell was on a flight to Bahrain.

Red Bull workers are reportedly afraid that more messages may be leaked.

Halliwell, who married the Red Bull team principal in 2015, went ‘into meltdown’ when she touched down in Bahrain and discovered the texts had been leaked.

This morning, she was nowhere to be seen as her husband Christian Horner was pictured in black sunglasses and a Red Bull outfit.

Red Bull confirmed that the former Spice Girl will be on the grid to show solidarity with Horner.

Halliwell is said to have found out that her husband’s bombshell texts were leaked as she was flying to Bahrain on a private jet.

Friends of Halliwell say they are ‘deeply concerned’ for her and that she appeared ‘fragile’ when they saw her some weeks ago.

A source claimed that Halliwell is ‘torn’ between publicly backing her husband, as urged by his mother, and maintaining distance as advised by her own team.

It’s reported that Halliwell knew of the female employee at the centre of the drama and approved of her working for Horner’s team.

Red Bull workers fear more leaks may overshadow world champion Max Verstappen‘s bid to win the Bahrain Grand Prix.

It’s believed that the dramatic situation has put Halliwell and Horner’s marriage in question for the first time.

Halliwell has not been seen in the paddock since her arrival, as Verstappen led the practice session in Bahrain.

She is planning to attend today’s Grand Prix in a public show of solidarity and will be on the pre-race grid with Horner and major Red Bull ally Chalerm Yoovidhya.
