Holland America Line Unveils 2026-2027 South America and Antarctica Cruises
SEATTLE, Wash. — Holland America Line has announced its 2026-2027 South America and Antarctica cruise season, now open for bookings. The season, running from November 2026 through March 2027, features voyages ranging from 14 to 31 days, offering travelers unparalleled access to destinations like the Chilean Fjords, the Falkland Islands, and the Pío XI Glacier.
The cruises will operate on the Oosterdam and Volendam ships, providing luxurious accommodations while exploring some of the world’s most remote and breathtaking locations. Highlights include scenic cruises through Glacier Alley, the Amazon River, and Antarctica, with four full days dedicated to exploring the icy wilderness of the southernmost continent.
Paul Grigsby, Vice President of Deployment and Revenue Planning for Holland America Line, emphasized the uniqueness of the Pío XI Glacier, calling it the “Grandaddy of Patagonian icefields.” He noted that the glacier’s striking blue hues and active calving events make it a must-see for adventurous travelers.
For those seeking cultural immersion, the 14- and 15-day South American Pathways cruise offers stops in Montevideo, Uruguay, and the Falkland Islands, while the Legendary Amazon Explorer provides a deep dive into the Amazon Rainforest, complete with an overnight stay in Manaus, Brazil.
Holland America Line also offers holiday-themed cruises, allowing guests to celebrate the season while exploring remote destinations. Additionally, the Panama Canal & Inca Discovery cruises provide opportunities to visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites and engage in immersive shore excursions, such as sampling Chilean pisco or exploring Peruvian markets.
Early bookers can take advantage of the Have It All premium package, which includes shore excursions, specialty dining, and premium Wi-Fi. Mariner Society members are eligible for up to $400 in onboard credit when booking before March 31, 2025.
