Hollywood Star Gerard Butler Enjoys Northern Ireland Journey

Hollywood sensation Gerard Butler continues his exploration of the scenic landscapes of Northern Ireland, as he immerses himself in the local culture and entertainment scene.

The Scottish actor, known for his roles in blockbuster films like ‘300’ and ‘Law Abiding Citizen,’ is currently in Northern Ireland for the filming of the live-action adaptation of the animated classic ‘How to Train Your Dragon’.

In recent weeks, Butler has been making waves in Belfast, where he was spotted mingling with locals at the renowned Harp Bar, and even striking a pose with Sunday Life columnist and former boxing world champion, Carl Frampton.

Not one to miss out on the vibrant nightlife, Butler made a return visit to The Dirty Duck Alehouse in the picturesque town of Holywood, where he enjoyed a lively performance by Tartan Riot, a band that uniquely features a bagpiper among its members.

Adding a touch of sporting flair to his Northern Ireland escapades, the actor was seen ringside at a thrilling boxing event, ‘Fists of Fury,’ at the prestigious Europa Hotel in Belfast, alongside boxing stars like Michael Conlan and retired boxer Paddy Barnes.
