During a recent episode of the popular UK talk show “Loose Women,” legendary screen actress Joan Collins made headlines with her remarks about the British Prime Minister, which drew a notable reaction from the audience. The episode aired on Monday, 23 September, featuring the 91-year-old actress discussing her illustrious career and personal anecdotes from her time on the classic television series “Dynasty.”

While conversing with hosts including Ruth Langsford, Collins reminisced about her shopping experiences, particularly during her prime acting years. “Of course, I do like shopping, so I spent a lot of time in Saks, and Neimans,” she shared with the audience. Continuing her anecdote, she humorously likened her shopping habits to those of the Prime Minister, sparking laughter and surprise from the viewers.

Collins also took time to reflect on her role as Alexis Carrington Colby in “Dynasty,” revealing that she still possessed much of the costume jewelry from the show. “I cannot believe they put me in such terrible hats,” she noted with amusement. Beyond fashion, Collins candidly spoke about the challenges of working on the highly successful show.

The actress, who has achieved great success as an author, dishing on the dynamics with cast members, stated, “I love John James who played Jeff Colby, Emma Samms who played my daughter, and Stephanie Beecham and Kate O’Mara. But some of the others we didn’t get along so well.”

Meanwhile, outside the television studio, political figures such as Sir Keir Starmer have been in the spotlight. Starmer recently faced criticism over accepting complimentary tickets for personal security reasons to watch Arsenal, a football club he supports fervently. He defended the decision in an interview with Sky News, explaining that the security advisories necessitated more secure viewing arrangements.
