Hozier Announces Unheard EP Featuring Allison Russell Collaboration
Irish singer-songwriter Hozier has thrilled fans with the revelation of his upcoming EP, titled ‘Unheard’, set for release on March 22.
The Co. Wicklow native unveiled that the EP will showcase four previously unreleased tracks, all originating from the recording sessions of his acclaimed album ‘Unreal Unearth‘.
Among the songs included in the EP are ‘Too Sweet’, ‘Empire Now’, ‘Fare Well’, and a special collaboration ‘Wildflower and Barley’ featuring the exceptionally talented Allison Russell.
In a social media post, Hozier shared a sneak peek into the creative process, stating that these tracks didn’t make the final album cut due to various reasons, but he is excited to finally share them with his audience.
Allison Russell, who had toured and collaborated with Hozier, previously praised his fanbase, noting the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere at his shows.
The joint track with Russell, ‘Wildflower and Barley’, is expected to be a standout piece on the ‘Unheard’ EP, adding another dimension to Hozier’s diverse musical repertoire.
