Icai Announces Rescheduled Dates For May 2024 Ca Exams

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially released new dates for the upcoming CA exams scheduled for May 2024. The revised schedule was announced on the official ICAI website today, March 19. Candidates preparing for the CA Intermediate and Final exams in May 2024 can now view the rescheduled dates.

The revised timetable indicates that the Group 1 Intermediate exams will take place on May 3, 5, and 9, 2024. Subsequently, Group 2 examinations will be conducted on May 11, 15, and 17, 2024. For the Group 1 Final exams, candidates are expected to appear on May 2, 4, and 8, 2024. The Group 2 Final exams are scheduled for May 10, 14, and 16, 2024. Additionally, the International Taxation – Assessment Test will be held on May 14 and 16, 2024.

With the announcement, ICAI addressed the impact of the Lok Sabha elections on the exam schedule, considering the polling process set to occur from April 19 to June 1, 2024. This adjustment was essential to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams while accommodating the nationwide election activities.

Candidates aspiring to become Chartered Accountants are encouraged to visit the official ICAI website to access the revised exam timetable and make a note of the updated dates. This modification was made in response to the extensive Lok Sabha elections, which will determine the formation of the 18th Lok Sabha across India.

The rescheduled May 2024 CA exams’ dates have been strategically arranged to provide candidates with ample time to prepare and ensure a fair and transparent examination process. The adjustments seek to minimize overlap with significant national events, guaranteeing that candidates can focus on their assessments without conflicts due to external schedules.
