Cole Davies Jordon Smith Supercross Crash

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah: Cole Davies and Jordon Smith crashed hard during Qualification 1 for the Supercross season finale on May 10, 2025. Both riders were slow to rise after the incident, with Davies requiring extra help and a medical cart.

Race Day Live reported on Peacock that Davies suffered an arm injury and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The crash caused concern among spectators and fellow competitors.

Haiden Deegan, who had nothing to lose on the final lap, topped the 250 East division chart after the crash with a time of 47.312. RJ Hampshire experienced his own challenges, having fallen gently during an earlier Free Practice session.

In the qualifying rounds, Seth Hammaker set an early pace with a lap time of 47.415, followed by Tom Vialle at 48.277. Austin Forkner claimed third with a time of 48.393, and Nate Thrasher and Hampshire rounded out the top five.

In the 250 West division, the crash occurred when Davies was rolling through a rhythm section and Smith collided with him at full speed, leading to a red flag. Both riders were slow to get up from the ground.

After the crash, Deegan rushed to check on Davies. “It’s a bummer for Cole,” Deegan said. “He’s strong. He’ll be alright. Prayer out for him and hope he has a smooth recovery, but it’s time to lock in and have a good night of racing.”

Davies was sitting up when transported away, but it remains uncertain if he will ride in the 250 West Heat due to his injury. Jo Shimoda finished third in the session with a lap of 50.175, followed by Julien Beaumer and Smith rounding out the top five.
