Deadpool And Wolverine Streaming

The highly-anticipated film, “Deadpool and Wolverine,” which emerged as the biggest box office hit of the year, is now available for streaming. However, there is a complication for audiences in India, as the film has yet to make its OTT debut in the country.

Beginning Tuesday, October 1, 2024, “Deadpool and Wolverine” is accessible via premium video on demand (PVOD) on platforms like Prime Video, Apple TV+, and VUDU globally. Nevertheless, the film is not yet available for direct streaming through Disney+, where Marvel films traditionally find a home. Industry patterns suggest that films typically transition to subscription video on demand (SVOD) two to four weeks after their PVOD release, adding hope for future availability on Disney+.

In India, the film’s OTT release remains officially unannounced. Fans are awaiting its arrival on Disney+ Hotstar, the customary platform for Marvel releases in the region. Reports indicate that the film may begin streaming within the month, although a specific date has not been confirmed by Disney+ Hotstar.

“Deadpool and Wolverine” stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the leads, marking the integration of these iconic mutants into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Under the direction of Shawn Levy, this film also serves as Deadpool’s debut in the MCU. Previously, the character existed largely independently within Fox‘s Marvel universe, primarily interacting with the X-Men series. The film has been praised for its narrative and cinematic execution, grossing over $1.3 billion worldwide. Featuring numerous cameos, the film has been well-received by critics and audiences alike.
