Jack Draper, the 22-year-old British tennis sensation, has been making significant waves in the tennis world. As of October 2024, Draper has achieved the highest ranking of his career, standing at No. 18 in the ATP rankings, a position he attained on October 21, 2024.

Draper’s rise to prominence began with impressive victories at the 2021 cinch Championships at the Queen’s Club, where he upset top 40 players, including Jannik Sinner, to reach the quarter-finals. This performance helped him improve his ranking by 59 places to a career-best of world No. 250 at the time.

In recent months, Draper has continued his upward trajectory. He won his first ATP title at the Boss Open, which led to him becoming the new British No.1 for the first time in his career on June 17, 2024. This milestone makes him the youngest British No.1 since Andy Murray.

Draper has also made notable appearances in Grand Slam tournaments, reaching the fourth round of the 2023 US Open for the first time in his career. Additionally, he made his Davis Cup debut during Great Britain‘s tie against Australia at the 2023 Davis Cup Finals Group Stages in Manchester.

Coached by LTA National Coach James Trotman, Draper has accumulated an impressive record, including four ATP Challenger titles and several ITF titles. His current season statistics show him with a 32-21 win-loss record, highlighting his consistent performance.

Off the court, Draper is known for his diverse interests, including supporting Manchester United Football Club and enjoying music by bands like Oasis and Stone Roses. His family has a strong tennis background, with his mother, Nicky, being a former British junior champion who introduced him to tennis at the age of six.
