Jadon Sancho Returns to Borussia Dortmund on Loan
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag hopes Jadon Sancho‘s loan spell with Borussia Dortmund is successful after the winger secured a move back to the Bundesliga until the end of the season. Sancho and Ten Hag had a public dispute in September when the winger criticized the manager for leaving him out of the squad against Arsenal and claimed he was being made a “scapegoat.”
Sancho had been training with the U18s and the move back to Dortmund will allow him to gain regular competitive football. Ten Hag addressed Sancho’s departure by saying that he hopes he does well and wishes him success.
The loan deal does not include an option or obligation to buy, meaning that Sancho will return to Old Trafford after the loan spell. Speaking about his return to Dortmund, Sancho expressed excitement and said he feels like he’s coming home. He is looking forward to playing with his teammates, scoring goals, and helping the club qualify for the Champions League.
