James Taylor Expands 2025 Summer Tour with New Dates

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — James Taylor announced additional dates for his summer 2025 tour, expanding his schedule to include 17 new performances with his All-Star Band, featuring the Boston-based band Tiny Habits as a special guest. The newly added shows will take place from August 21 to September 17 across various venues in the United States.

The tour will kick off with a concert in Vienna, Virginia, at Wolf Trap, where Taylor will perform three shows from August 21 to August 24. Other notable stops include two nights at MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, Virginia Beach‘s Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater, and a concluding performance at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

The initial leg of the tour begins on May 5, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona, and will run through July, with performances at iconic venues such as the Santa Barbara Bowl and Red Rocks Amphitheater. Tickets for the August and September dates will go on sale to the public on March 14 at 10 a.m. local time, while those for the earlier dates are currently available.

Tiny Habits, praised by outlets like NPR and The New Yorker, is gaining traction in the music scene. They recently opened for singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams on her North American and Australian tours and have collaborated with artists including Lizzy McAlpine and Kacey Musgraves. The band’s debut album, All For Something, was released in May 2024.

James Taylor, renowned for his warm baritone voice and outstanding guitar skills, has had an illustrious career that spans over five decades. He has sold more than 100 million albums globally and has earned numerous accolades, including multiple Grammy Awards and inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

In 2015, Taylor released Before This World, marking his first number one album. He has also been recognized with the Presidential Medal of Freedom and is the first artist to have a Billboard Top 10 album in each of six decades.
