Jennifer Hudson is set to return to NBC‘s singing competition show, ‘The Voice,’ but this time in a new role. Alongside the legendary musician Sting, Hudson will serve as a Mega Mentor for Season 26 of the show. Hudson, who is an EGOT winner (having won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony), will be mentoring the teams of coaches Michael BublĂ© and Reba McEntire. This marks her return to ‘The Voice’ after previously serving as a coach in Seasons 13 and 15, as well as her stint on ‘The Voice U.K.’ from Seasons 6 through 8.

Sting, known for his iconic career with The Police and as a solo artist, will be joining coaches Snoop Dogg and Gwen Stefani. This will be Sting’s first appearance on any version of ‘The Voice.’ The Knockout round, where Hudson and Sting will be involved, is scheduled to begin on November 11, following the conclusion of the Battles round.

Jennifer Hudson’s diverse career includes her acclaimed performance in the movie-musical ‘Dreamgirls,’ roles in TV shows like ‘Smash,’ and her portrayal of Aretha Franklin in a 2021 biopic. She has also released several music albums and has been hosting her own syndicated daytime talk show, ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show,’ since September 2022.
