Jets Eye Promising Picks in 2025 NFL Draft

NEW YORK, N.Y. — The 2025 NFL Draft is approaching, and the New York Jets are poised to make significant changes to their roster. With eight selections, including three in the first three rounds, the Jets aim to bolster their squad with fresh talent.
Among their top picks are No. 7 overall, No. 42, and No. 73. Early speculation suggests wide receiver Romeu McMillan might be a fitting addition. McMillan, who recorded 84 catches for 1,319 yards and eight touchdowns last season, could complement star receiver Garrett Wilson without stealing targets from him.
“Adding McMillan would provide us with more offensive diversity,” said a Jets’ scouting source. “He has the ability to stretch the field and keep defenses guessing.”
Another area of focus for the Jets is right tackle, a position that has drawn attention following a pre-draft visit with player Andrew Ersery. Rated at 77.5 for his performance in 2024, Ersery brings three years of starting experience, making him a strong candidate for New York’s needs on the offensive line.
Meanwhile, the Jets have been busy reshaping their defensive line. This offseason has seen an influx of talent, including signings of Derrick Nnadi, Jay Tufele, and Byron Cowart. However, the team appears open to adding more young prospects. “We had a lot of changes in the defensive tackle position,” said Jets general manager Joe Douglas. “Bringing in fresh talent is crucial for our development.”
As the draft approaches, fans and analysts alike will be watching closely as the Jets aim to turn their fortunes around by securing key players in the upcoming selection process.
