Jimmy Snuggerud Set to Make NHL Debut with Blues

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Jimmy Snuggerud will make his NHL debut on Tuesday as the St. Louis Blues face the Detroit Red Wings at 7 p.m. CT at the Enterprise Center. Head Coach Jim Montgomery confirmed Snuggerud’s participation during a media session prior to the game.
Snuggerud joined the Blues for his first practice on Monday, following his recent arrival after a successful collegiate season. Montgomery praised his skills, noting, “His hockey sense, game management, his puck play was really good. His hands are exceptional. His skating is NHL speed; those are things you’re looking to see. The biggest thing is the brain, and he thinks it so well.”
In practice, it was revealed that Snuggerud will likely start on a line with teammates Zack Bolduc and Oskar Sundqvist. Montgomery expressed optimism about Snuggerud’s potential impact, stating, “It’s a quality talent we’ve acquired that’s just going to make it deeper and better.”

Goalie Jordan Binnington is expected to be in net.
