Joshua Roy Recalled By Montreal Canadiens From Laval Rocket

The Montreal Canadiens have made an announcement regarding the recall of forward Joshua Roy from the Laval Rocket on Friday night, following the Rocket’s 5-2 victory over the Moose du Manitoba.

Roy will join the Tricolore on Saturday morning as they face the Edmonton Oilers at Centre Bell.

It remains uncertain if he will be in the lineup, but if he is, he could potentially make his NHL debut. This will be his first call-up to the NHL.

Selected as the 150th overall pick by the Canadiens in the 2021 draft, the 20-year-old forward is currently in his first professional season. He ranks second in scoring for the Rocket this season with 12 goals and 30 points in 34 games.
