Olancho, Honduras. Juticalpa FC took a narrow 1-0 lead over Olancho FC in a fierce derby clash at the Juan Ramón Brevé Vargas Stadium on October 16, 2025, during the 14th round of the Liga Nacional’s Apertura Tournament.

The decisive moment came in the 20th minute when Christian Altamirano received a long pass, managed to shake off a defender, and fired a left-footed shot past Olancho’s goalkeeper Harold Fonseca.

Both clubs entered the match knowing that a victory was essential to improve their standings in the league table. Current standings show Juticalpa FC in a competitive position, while Olancho FC struggled to secure points.

Olancho FC’s lineup featured Harold Fonseca in goal, with a defensive line of Óscar Almendárez, Juan Lasso, Yeer Gutiérrez, and Diego Rodríguez. In midfield, Deyron Martínez, Henry Gómez, and Juan Delgado supported forwards Yeison Mejía, Marlon Ramírez, and Rodrigo de Oliveira, under the direction of coach Reynaldo Tilguath.
