Kara Tointon Teases New Psychological Thriller Series ‘Too Good to be True’ Ahead of Premiere
Former ‘EastEnders‘ star Kara Tointon recently provided a sneak peek into her upcoming four-part series ‘Too Good to be True’ during a guest appearance on ‘The One Show’ alongside actor Jack Davenport.
Tointon, who portrays Rachel in the series, shared insights with hosts Alex Jones and Lauren Laverne, detailing her character as a struggling single mother grappling with various challenges.
The psychological thriller, set to air on Channel 5, follows Rachel’s story as she takes on a housekeeping job at a mysterious manor house, owned by a successful businessman portrayed by Allen Leech.
Describing Rachel’s journey, Tointon disclosed that the plot unfolds as the businessman develops an interest in Rachel and her son after encountering them at a hotel where Rachel previously worked.
‘Too Good to be True’ is scheduled to premiere on February 14th, offering viewers a Valentine’s Day treat filled with suspense and intrigue.
