Kerala Prepares For High Stakes Lok Sabha Elections 2024

Kerala, known as ‘God’s own Country,’ is gearing up for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024, marking a significant political battleground for major parties.

The state, with 20 Lok Sabha seats, has historically been a stronghold for the Congress party. In the previous elections, the United Progressive Alliance (UPA), led by Congress, secured 19 out of 20 seats, establishing dominance in the region.

However, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) aims to challenge the status quo and make significant gains in Kerala this time around.

The face for Prime Minister from the Congress, Rahul Gandhi, holds a crucial seat in Kerala and is expected to play a pivotal role in the upcoming elections.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) is likely to schedule the polling in Kerala in late April or early May, with a potential shift to a two-phase polling process.

With the highest voter turnout in the country, establishing a strong connection with the people of Kerala is paramount for political parties vying for success.

The state’s complex political landscape and organized voting system present a unique challenge and opportunity for parties to secure the support of the electorate.

Following the success of the UPA in the last elections, the Congress and its newly formed I.N.D.I.A Alliance aim to maintain their momentum and keep the ruling government out of Kerala’s political equation.

On the other hand, the NDA is determined to break its previous electoral setbacks in the state and secure key constituencies in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.

The stage is set for a high-stakes battle in Kerala as parties intensify their campaigns and strategies to win over voters in this diverse and politically vibrant state.
