Lady Gaga Pays Tribute To Her 2017 Super Bowl Look At The 2024 Game

Lady Gaga made a sparkling statement at the 2024 Super Bowl, held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, as she paid homage to her iconic 2017 Super Bowl halftime show look with bejeweled eye makeup. Attending the game with her boyfriend, Michael Polansky, Gaga donned a dazzling 49ers jacket adorned with bejeweled eye makeup similar to her makeup from the halftime show performance.

The shimmering eye makeup, crafted by makeup artist Sarah Tanno, featured red and white crystals meticulously placed around heavy black liner, reminiscent of the Swarovski crystals that adorned Gaga’s face during her groundbreaking halftime show performance in 2017. Tanno had strived to create a timeless look for Gaga, lining her bodysuit, boots, and face with the signature crystals from the prestigious brand Marc Jacobs.

Gaga, who also opened the 2016 Super Bowl with a stirring rendition of the national anthem, graced the 2024 Super Bowl with her presence at Allegiant Stadium, attracting attention with her resplendent makeup tribute. Surrounded by a star-studded audience including Britney Spears, Kit Harington, Derek Jeter, JLo, Jerry Seinfeld, and Lady Whistledown, Gaga and Polansky enjoyed the game from midfield seats.

With her unique nod to her past halftime show appearance, Lady Gaga showcased her enduring influence on both the music and fashion worlds, cementing her status as a pop culture icon. The game also saw the presence of other celebrities like Blake Lively, who came to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce, a player for the victorious Kansas City Chiefs team.
