Lego Unveils Twilight Cullen House Set with Sparkling Edward Minifigure
BILLUND, Denmark — Lego has announced the release of its highly anticipated Twilight Cullen House set, inspired by the iconic vampire family from the Twilight saga. The set, based on a fan-submitted design, will hit shelves on February 4, 2025, priced at $220.
The three-story model features detailed rooms from the Cullen residence, including Edward‘s bedroom, the grand piano, and a tree for Bella and Edward minifigures to climb. The set also includes builds of Bella’s red truck and a brick-built wolf form for Jacob, alongside minifigures of key characters like Carlisle, Esme, Alice, and Charlie.
One of the most intriguing details is Lego’s mention of a “dazzling sparkle effect” for the Edward minifigure. While the official images show a pale, gaunt figure resembling Robert Pattinson, the exact nature of the sparkle remains a mystery. “Maybe it’s subtle so you don’t have one minifigure lighting up like a Christmas tree,” speculated a Lego spokesperson.
To celebrate the launch, Lego is offering a unique bonus: a two-hour digital recreation of the Twilight films using the set and minifigures. Buyers can watch the Lego version while building the Cullen House, adding an interactive twist to the experience.
The Twilight Cullen House set marks the latest addition to Lego’s Ideas program, which turns fan-submitted designs into official products. The program has previously produced sets based on popular franchises like Friends and Seinfeld, but this is the first time a Twilight-inspired set has made the cut.
With its intricate details and nostalgic appeal, the set is expected to be a hit among both Lego enthusiasts and Twilight fans. “It’s very fun that Lego went the extra mile just for Edward,” said one fan on social media. “Clearly, the company is Team Edward.”
