Lily Allen David Harbour Split Podcast

Lily Allen has confirmed her split from husband David Harbour during a candid discussion on her podcast, ‘Miss Me?’, co-hosted with Miquita Oliver. The 39-year-old singer revealed her fragile state of mind amid a ‘tough period,’ admitting she has been ‘spiralling’ and struggling with panic attacks. The couple’s separation follows reports that Harbour, 49, was using the celebrity dating app Raya.

During the podcast episode released on Thursday, Allen stumbled over the word ‘husband’ while recounting a holiday in Kenya with Harbour last year. She described being ‘unable to concentrate on anything apart from her pain’ and shared that she is taking a three-week break from the show to focus on her mental health. Allen also addressed speculation about her potential return to rehab, denying any relapse into past drug addiction.

Allen’s daughters, Ethel, 13, and Marnie, 11, whom she shares with ex Sam Cooper, have been a source of support during this difficult time. She emphasized the challenges of maintaining a strong front for her children while dealing with personal struggles. ‘When things are not going so well and life is tough, having to hold things together is really hard,’ she said.

The singer also revealed her meticulous efforts to uncover Harbour’s alleged infidelity, comparing herself to ‘Wagatha Christie.’ Allen rejoined Raya to investigate whether Harbour was seeking other women and reportedly discovered his active profile on the app. A source close to Allen described her methods: ‘Lily was looking for women on Raya and cross-referencing them with women David follows on Instagram.’

Harbour, known for his role in ‘Stranger Things,’ has not publicly commented on the split. The couple married in 2020 after meeting on Raya and moved to Brooklyn, New York, with Allen’s children. Harbour recently purchased a home in Atlanta to be closer to the ‘Stranger Things’ set, where filming for the final season wrapped before Christmas.

Allen hinted at a potential musical comeback in 2025, expressing her desire to release a new album by the end of the year. ‘I’m doing a little bit of work on myself in this beginning period of the year, then I’m going to do some more writing, then I’m going to do my play, hopefully, maybe get an album out by the end of the year,’ she said on the podcast.
