International Delight Creamer Bottles On Store Shelf

CHICAGO — More than 75,000 bottles of International Delight coffee creamer are being recalled due to complaints of spoilage and illness. Danone US, LLC, which oversees the brand, initiated the voluntary recall for two specific flavors: Hazelnut International Delight Coffee Creamer and Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll International Delight Coffee Creamer. The announcement follows an alert from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The recalled products, packaged in 32-ounce bottles, are identified by their “Best By” dates. The Hazelnut creamer has a “Best By” date of July 2, 2025, whereas the Cinnabon flavor is marked with a date of July 3, 2025. Both carry the same UPC code: 51-4114 R-S.

The FDA indicated that the affected creamers were distributed to various retail locations across 31 states, including Texas. Consumers who possess either flavor of the creamer are urged to discard the products immediately.

“We are committed to your health and safety, and we follow best practices to ensure the quality and safety of the products we sell. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused,” said a representative from SpartanNash, one of the distributors of the product.

While the FDA classifies this recall as a low probability of serious health consequences, it does warn of potential temporary or reversible effects from consuming the affected creamers. As of now, the company has not provided information on how many individuals have reported illnesses related to the consumption of these products.

For those who have purchased the affected items, the FDA recommends returning them to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement. Consumers with additional questions can reach Danone at 1-800-451-8500 for further assistance.
