Malcolm Stewart Injured at High Point Motocross Race

Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania – Malcolm Stewart faced a serious crash during the fourth round of the 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship at High Point Raceway on Saturday.
As Stewart was in tenth place, he became cross rutted, and his handlebars swung toward him, striking his chin. He rode off to the pits after the incident and did not compete in the second moto, officially finishing with a 39th-place score.
“Still got all my teeth (somehow) 🦷… but my neck’s been in a staring contest with the ceiling since that hit,” Stewart posted on Instagram. “Took the biggest uppercut I’ve ever felt, and Moto 2 just wasn’t in the cards. We’ll heal up and be back soon.”
After the crash, Stewart visited the Alpinestars medical rig for treatment. His disappointing results put him 14th in the 450 Class championship standings after four rounds.
Meanwhile, Stewart’s teammate RJ Hampshire performed well, finishing eighth overall with consistent finishes of sixth and eighth. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team Manager acknowledged Stewart’s tough day, expressing optimism about his recovery.
“It was unfortunate for Malcolm to finish the weekend early, but we will look forward to the weekend off and then come out swinging,” the manager stated. “He took a handlebar to the chin, but he is super-tough, and we know he will bounce back quickly.”
The series now has a weekend off before heading to the Southwick National in Massachusetts on June 28.
