Manchester United has come to terms with Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte in a potential move to the Premier League, marking a significant step in the negotiations.

The 23-year-old, who made a high-profile €60 million switch from Sporting CP to Ligue 1 champions PSG last year, could be on the verge of departing after just one season with the French club.

Manager Erik ten Hag, who has been actively reinforcing the squad, recently welcomed new additions in Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna and Leny Yoro via a £58.9 million deal with Lille.

Latest reports indicate that Ugarte, represented by agent Jorge Mendes, has already reached an agreement on personal terms with United, showing a keen interest in joining the 20-time Premier League champions despite their absence in the upcoming Champions League.

On the negotiation front, Manchester United continues discussions with PSG for Ugarte’s transfer, with other clubs also expressing interest following initial inquiries.

Italian giants Juventus, as well as teams from Serie A, Germany and England, appear to be monitoring the situation, according to French publication L'Equipe.
