Maryland Vs Ucla Basketball Game 2025

The Maryland Terrapins men’s basketball team will face No. 22 UCLA on Friday night at the Xfinity Center in College Park, Maryland, as both teams look to end their two-game losing streaks. The game, scheduled for 8 p.m. ET, will be broadcast on FOX, with Tim Brando and Donny Marshall providing commentary.

Maryland, currently 11-4 overall and 1-3 in the Big Ten, is coming off consecutive losses to Washington and No. 15 Oregon. UCLA, also 11-4 but 2-2 in the Big Ten, has similarly struggled in recent games. The Bruins lead the all-time series against the Terps, 7-3.

“This is a crucial game for us to regain momentum,” said Maryland head coach Kevin Willard. “UCLA is a tough opponent, but we’re focused on executing our game plan and getting back on track.”

The Terps will rely on their leading scorer, Jahmir Young, who averages 18.5 points per game. UCLA counters with guard Dylan Andrews, who has been a consistent performer for the Bruins this season.

Fans can listen to the game on 105.7 FM (Baltimore) or 980 AM (Washington, D.C.), with Johnny Holliday, Chris Knoche, and Walt Williams calling the action. Streaming options will also be available for viewers.

Both teams are looking to improve their standings in the Big Ten and secure a much-needed win as the season progresses.
