Mbappe Set For Real Madrid Debut

Kylian Mbappe is all set to make his long-awaited debut for Real Madrid on Wednesday night. The team is ready to face Atalanta, the Europa League winners from last season, at the National Stadium in Warsaw.

Fans are buzzing with excitement as Mbappe could lift his first trophy while wearing the famous Madrid jersey. He was introduced as a new player last month but had to sit out the games due to his involvement in Euro 2024.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti mentioned that there’s a good chance Mbappe will start the match. He praised the French star, stating, “He’s adapting well, showing extraordinary quality.” Alongside him, Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr. are expected to support from the wings, while Jude Bellingham could start despite having a limited pre-season.

While Real Madrid has seen players like Nacho and Toni Kroos leave since their Champions League triumph, they still have strong options like Eder Militao and Aurelien Tchouameni ready to fill in for them. Young defender Jacobo Ramon, aged 19, and David Alaba, back from injury, have also made it to the matchday squad.

On the other side, Atalanta has made some significant changes too. They recently secured Charles De Ketelaere on a permanent deal and brought in Ben Godfrey from Everton. Nicolo Zaniolo has also joined on loan from Galatasaray, although he is currently injured.

Unfortunately for Atalanta, they will be missing key players like Gianluca Scamacca due to a serious injury. Manager Gian Piero Gasperini has been vocal about not letting the team’s situation affect their performance in the upcoming match.

The match is scheduled for 8 PM BST on August 14, 2024, and fans are looking forward to an exciting evening of football.
