McQueen, Spanish Springs Win Regional Football Championships

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – McQueen and Spanish Springs both claimed regional football championships this past weekend, marking significant achievements in local high school sports.

The Lancers of McQueen defeated Reno High for the second time this season, but this victory carried the highest stakes yet. This win secured McQueen’s position as champions in their respective regional playoffs.

Meanwhile, Spanish Springs also showcased a strong performance, defeating Bishop Manogue to clinch the regional championship. This victory is especially historic as it marks the first time Spanish Springs has won a regional title in football.
