Michigan State Basketball Lands Kaleb Glenn from Transfer Portal

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Michigan State basketball has begun its moves in the transfer portal, announcing the commitment of Florida Atlantic wing Kaleb Glenn on Wednesday.

Glenn, a 6-foot-7, 210-pound small forward from Louisville, Kentucky, brings significant experience to the Spartans’ roster after a standout season at FAU. He showcased his skills at La Lumiere School in Indiana and played AAU basketball for the Indy Heat, where he teamed up with current MSU point guard Jeremy Fears.

Before transferring to Florida Atlantic, Glenn started his collegiate career at Louisville. During the previous season at FAU, he averaged 12.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while shooting an impressive 53.1% from the field. Additionally, Glenn demonstrated his prowess from beyond the arc, hitting 41.0% of his three-point attempts, culminating in an effective field goal percentage of 61.4%.

“Kaleb is a tremendous fit for our program,” said Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo. “His scoring ability and versatility will be crucial as we look to rebuild and strengthen our lineup.”

This addition is expected to provide a solid foundation for the Spartans as they shift their focus towards securing a starting shooting guard and a backup point guard for the next season. The recruitment of Glenn marks an exciting development amid the team’s off-season strategy.
