AC Milan Primavera Set to Face Braga in UEFA Youth League Round of 16
AC Milan‘s Primavera squad is gearing up to take on Braga in the round of 16 of the UEFA Youth League. Having reached the final four last season where they fell to Hajduk Split, Milan topped their group this season with impressive performances.
Milan will clash with Braga at the Vismara Sports Centre, also known as the PUMA House of Football. The match is scheduled for Wednesday, and fans can catch the action on UEFA.tv and Sky Sport Calcio on Sky channel 202 in Italy.
Braga, who finished second in their group after defeating Napoli, Real Madrid, and Union Berlin, pose a strong opposition for Milan. Their U19 squad, led by coach Rui Duarte, features standout players like João Vasconcelos and Nuno Patricio.
João Vasconcelos has been Braga’s top scorer in the competition so far, while young sensation Nuno Patricio has already made appearances for the U23 team and is making waves in youth football.
If Milan’s Primavera side progresses past Braga, they will be just one step away from the quarter-finals and a potential spot in the Final Four in April. The youth teams vying for the semis include the likes of AZ Alkmaar, Porto, Manchester City, Real Madrid, and other top European clubs.
