A fortunate lotto enthusiast from the Greater Toronto Area is starting the day with a significant windfall after clinching the jackpot in last night’s Lotto Max draw. The winning ticket was sold in the town of Milton, with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission (OLG) confirming the exciting news on Saturday.

Additionally, there are other fortunate winners spread across Ontario. A ticket securing the second-place prize from the June 14 draw, valued at $224,150.20, was purchased in Scarborough. Furthermore, an Encore ticket worth $1 million was sold in the Halliburton and Muskoka area, adding to the streak of luck in the province. Another Encore ticket rewarding its holder with $100,000 was bought in Simcoe County, spreading the jackpot joy further.

Looking ahead, there is anticipation building for the upcoming 6/49 Gold Ball Draw scheduled for Saturday night, with a potential prize pool of $66 million up for grabs. If there is no winning ticket this time, the jackpot will escalate to a record-breaking $68 million, with a guaranteed winner set to be announced in the following mid-week draw, according to an announcement from the OLG.
