Minnesota Vikings Wide Receiver Jordan Addison Arrested for DUI Near LAX
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was taken into custody by the California Highway Patrol for suspicion of driving under the influence near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Reported at 11:06 p.m. PT on Friday, authorities responded to a disabled vehicle obstructing lanes on I-105. Upon arrival, officers found Addison asleep at the wheel of a white Rolls-Royce. Following a DUI investigation, Addison was formally arrested at 11:36 p.m. and released from custody around 1:36 a.m. on Saturday.
The Minnesota Vikings acknowledged the situation in a statement obtained by NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero, stating they are currently gathering more details regarding the incident.
This marks the second consecutive offseason where Addison has faced legal issues on the road. In July 2023, he was cited by the State Patrol for driving at 140 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Selected as the 23rd overall pick out of USC in the 2023 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings, Addison had a successful rookie season with 70 receptions, 911 receiving yards, and 10 touchdowns.
Veterans of the Vikings are expected to report for training camp on July 23.
