Beau Pribula Injury College Football

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Missouri Tigers quarterback Beau Pribula suffered a left leg injury in the third quarter of Saturday’s game against the Vanderbilt Commodores. The injury occurred during a fourth-and-goal rushing attempt, with the game tied 3-3.

Pribula was stopped short of the goal line after being tackled by the Vanderbilt defense. He remained on the field for several minutes as trainers evaluated him before he was placed in an air cast and carted off the field.

Prior to the injury, Pribula, a transfer from Penn State, completed 9 of 14 passes for 68 yards and rushed for 10 yards on four attempts. The injury follows a tough season for Missouri’s quarterbacks; backup Sam Horn suffered a season-ending leg injury in the opener.

With Pribula out, true freshman Matt Zollers, who started the season as the third-string quarterback, will take over for the Tigers. Zollers, a top 100 recruit in the class of 2025, had already showcased his talent by completing all six of his passing attempts for 75 yards and a touchdown earlier this season.

The game remains crucial for both teams, each holding a 6-1 overall record and 2-1 in SEC play as they chase College Football Playoff aspirations.
