Nebraska Cornhuskers Football Recruiting 2025

The Nebraska Cornhuskers are making significant strides in securing commitments for their 2025 football recruiting class. Currently ranked 26th nationally and 9th in the Big Ten, the Cornhuskers, under the guidance of Coach Matt Rhule, have nearly completed their recruiting efforts for this class. The focus now appears to be shifting towards the 2026 class with the recent commitment of a new quarterback recruit.

Among the few remaining recruits on Nebraska’s board for 2025 is Michael Terry III, a highly-touted athlete from Alamo Heights High School. As a five-star recruit, Terry has been a priority for the Cornhuskers. However, recent trends indicate a potential shift towards the Texas Longhorns, with multiple predictions, including one from Steve Wiltfong of On3, suggesting he may commit to Texas. Despite this, Nebraska remains persistent in their pursuit until Terry signs his National Letter of Intent (NLI).

Another notable recruit on Nebraska’s radar is Dawson Merritt, who recently visited the Cornhuskers. Merritt is currently committed to Alabama, and his visit to Nebraska during the Colorado game was perceived as a final attempt by Nebraska to sway his decision. Unless Nebraska presents a compelling case, Merritt is expected to remain committed to Alabama.

Cortez Mills, a wide receiver committed to Oklahoma, also visited Nebraska recently. Although signs of a potential flip are not apparent, Nebraska intends to continue efforts to recruit Mills before the final decision deadline in December. Known for his exceptional talent, Mills was an off-season priority for the Cornhuskers.

Ka’Mori Moore appears to be the most promising addition to Nebraska’s class. The talented defensive lineman recently de-committed from Oklahoma, a move that positions Nebraska as the frontrunner for his commitment. Nebraska has consistently shown interest in Moore, and his upcoming visit to Lincoln could result in his commitment to the Cornhuskers.

Fans and followers eager to stay updated on Nebraska Cornhuskers’ recruitment efforts are encouraged to engage with the team’s official channels regularly.
