NEW ORLEANS, La. — New Orleans is gearing up to host Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025, marking the 11th time the city will welcome the NFL‘s championship game. The event will take place at Caesars Superdome, with Grammy-winning artist Kendrick Lamar headlining the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show.

The city last hosted the Super Bowl in 2013, when the Baltimore Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers 34-31. New Orleans has a rich history with the event, dating back to 1970 when it hosted Super Bowl IV at Tulane Stadium.

Fox will broadcast the game, with Kevin Burkhardt handling play-by-play, Tom Brady providing color commentary, and Tom Rinaldi and Erin Andrews reporting from the sidelines. The national radio broadcast will also be available for fans tuning in remotely.

Tickets for the game are already in high demand, with verified resellers like StubHub listing the cheapest ticket at just under $5,000 as of Saturday. Fans are encouraged to act quickly to secure their seats for the highly anticipated event.

In preparation for the halftime show, producers are hiring approximately 500 Field Team members to assist with stage assembly and movement. Applicants must be over 18, in good physical health, and available for all rehearsals. No prior experience is required, though Field Team members will not receive game tickets.

Kendrick Lamar, announced as the headliner in September, is expected to deliver a memorable performance. The rapper, known for his critically acclaimed albums and powerful live shows, will take the stage at one of the most-watched events in sports and entertainment.

For those unable to attend in person, the game will be streamed on Fubo and the Fox Sports app. Fans can also follow updates and coverage through the USA TODAY Network and local outlets like WVUE.
