NFL Announces 2025 Schedule Featuring Key Matchups and Rematches

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The NFL has unveiled its full schedule for the 2025 season, highlighting a rematch of Super Bowl LIX set for Week 2. The game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will take place on Sunday, September 14, in Kansas City.
The Chiefs are looking to bounce back after their attempt to win three consecutive Super Bowls was halted by the Eagles in February. Kansas City will appear in at least eight standalone games this upcoming season, while Philadelphia will have seven.
Among the other notable matchups announced on Wednesday night is a showdown between the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens on “Sunday Night Football.” Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who earned the NFL MVP award last season, will face Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, the AP’s first-team All-Pro.
Additionally, the Pittsburgh Steelers will visit the Baltimore Ravens, setting up a potential reunion with former Steelers quarterback. This matchup will occur if the quarterback signs with Baltimore as expected.
Las Vegas Raiders coach Pete Carroll will also return to New England for a game against the Patriots, marking a significant moment for the veteran coach.
Furthermore, a highly anticipated debut looms for a star two-way rookie with the Arizona Cardinals, as they prepare to face off against this season’s competition.
The announcement of the 2025 NFL schedule comes after previously revealed season openers, including the season opener on September 4. This slate promises exciting games and key player matchups to keep fans engaged throughout the year.
