Northeast Wisconsin Football Playoffs 2025

GREEN BAY, Wisconsin — The first week of football playoffs in Northeast Wisconsin has seen a dramatic reduction in teams, with 45 squads starting the competition and only 24 remaining after the opening round. At least one team is still active in every division, and five No. 1 seeds have advanced.

The playoffs kicked off last week, and with intense matchups, many local teams have excelled. Notable outcomes included Luxemburg-Casco’s victory over Fox Valley Lutheran, winning 3-1 in a Division 2 sectional semifinal. The excitement continued in Division 1, where West De Pere edged Bay Port 3-2, and Montello shut out Valley Christian 3-0.

In boys soccer, Hortonville emerged as a winner against D.C. Everest with a 1-0 score in Division 1 matches, while Pulaski fell short to Homestead, losing 1-0 in Division 2.

As the playoffs progress, schools and communities rally behind their teams, hoping to conquer the impending matchups in the quest for state titles. The next level of games promises even more intensity and surprise.
