Ohio High School Football Playoff Semifinals Kick Off This Weekend

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The excitement is building as the 2025 high school football playoff semifinals begin this weekend. The games, pivotal in determining who advances to the state championship, feature some of the top teams from across the region.

On Friday, November 14, several key matchups will take place, including a highly anticipated Division II, Region 5 semifinal game between Hoban and Hudson at Dowed Field. Hoban enters the contest with a record of 9-1, while Hudson stands at 10-2.

Hoban, fresh from a dominant 35-3 victory over Hudson earlier in the playoffs, will look to continue its strong performance. The Knights’ offense is led by quarterback Nick Kinsey and running back Brayton Feister, who have both made significant contributions this season.
